Super soft plain idly steals the show in an otherwise average but value for money tiffin experience.

I visited Venky’s Idly in KPHB and tried multiple tiffin items including karam idly, lemon idly, ghee jeedipappu upma, onion dosa, and finally two plates of plain idly. Each item delivered a different experience.
The Karam Idly was fresh, soft, and delivered solid taste performance.
The Lemon Idly had a light and balanced tang with a clean flavour profile.
The Ghee Jeedipappu Upma felt average and had a slightly uthappam like texture.
The Onion Dosa did not look impressive visually but performed well in taste.
The real standout was the Plain Idly. Super soft and easily one of the best I have tried. It was so good that we ordered two extra plates.
Ambience was average. Parking is tough. Wheelchair accessibility is not available. Kitchen hygiene checks depend on the customer, so evaluate before ordering.
