This week’s Budget Bites took me to Vempa Raju Gari Biryani, and it turned out to be a solid value-for-money spot for biryani lovers.
We tried the Chitti Muthyala Biryani and Chitti Royala Biryani, with a full order priced at ₹359. The portion size was impressive and easily enough for two people, which makes it a great budget pick.
We also ordered the boneless biryani, and the quantity did not disappoint here either.
Coming to the taste, it has a unique flavor profile, slightly different from regular biryanis. It may not be something you’d crave daily, but it definitely works as a once-in-a-month treat.
One major advantage is the pricing. Compared to other places offering similar quantity, where bills can go up to ₹1000, this feels much more affordable without compromising too much on quality.
Tip: It’s better to eat here directly rather than ordering online, as the taste is noticeably better when served fresh.
