Vanam Fine Dine (Temporarily closed)

2.5
A promising resort style ambience overshadowed by slow service and inconsistent food quality.
15 July 2025
I visited Vanam Fine Dine near N Convention in Hyderabad. The place immediately gave us a pleasant resort style vibe, which raised our expectations before ordering.
We started with Sweet Corn (₹399). Unfortunately, it was extremely salty. When we informed the waiter, he tasted it himself and agreed that the seasoning was off. However, instead of replacing the dish or cancelling it, they simply removed it from the table and still billed us for it, which was disappointing.
Service throughout the visit was very slow, and it appeared that the restaurant was severely understaffed.
Next, we ordered Mutton Dalcha (₹459) with Steam Rice (₹99). Instead of steam rice, they served Bagara Rice but still billed us for Steam Rice. The dal portion of the dalcha tasted good, but the mutton pieces felt like raw boiled meat with almost no proper cooking or flavor, which made the dish inconsistent.
Since we were still hungry, we ordered Curd Rice (₹195). Unfortunately, it turned out to be watery and pale, reminding us of soggy rice rather than a proper curd rice preparation.
Overall, the visit felt disappointing due to service delays, billing issues, and inconsistent food quality. Hopefully the restaurant takes this as constructive feedback and improves staffing and customer service.
The total bill came to ₹1303 including GST.
