Urban Nemo Cafe

Great ambience, refreshing beverages, and tasty starters make it a good cafe experience despite a weak pulao.

11 January 2025

I visited Urban Nemo Cafe In Garden in Jubilee Hills. The experience started as a mixed bag, but eventually turned out to be quite enjoyable, especially for non veg starters and desserts.

The first dish we tried was Sabudana Fritters (₹299). They were crispy on the outside and soft inside, and the dip served alongside was excellent, making it a good starter.

Next came Beemavaram Royyala Vepudu (₹499). The dish had good flavor and tasted nice overall, but it could have been even better if the prawns were roasted slightly more to enhance the texture.

For beverages, we tried Coconut Colada (₹229 each), which turned out to be the absolute favorite of the meal. It was refreshing and completely worth the price.

Another drink was the Blueberry Sparkler (₹189), which looked great and tasted equally good, making it a nice light beverage option.

Moving to the main course, the Penne Pasta (₹319) was perfectly cooked with a creamy texture and fresh vegetables, making it a great choice for pasta lovers.

However, the Andhra Style Chicken Pulao (₹469) was disappointing. While the rice had decent flavor, the chicken lacked depth in taste, which reduced the overall impact of the dish.

To end the meal, we tried Tiramisu (₹299). It was perfectly layered, soft, and well balanced in flavor, making it a satisfying dessert.

Another highlight of the place is the ambience. The cafe has beautiful plants, garden style seating, and several photo spots, making it very Instagram worthy and a comfortable place to spend a couple of hours.

The total bill came to ₹3225.
