I visited Tilak’s Kitchen with a friend who was craving authentic Telugu home-style meals. Without even glancing at the menu, I went straight for their veg meals—my go-to order every time.
The meal began with a bowl of crispy papads, setting the tone for what was to come. The thali included a sweet dish, two varieties of flavored rice, 4–5 curries, sambar, and curd.
The absolute star for me was mixing hot rice with ghee, dal curry, and a spoonful of avakaya pickle—pure bliss in every bite. The roti and chutney combo is another winner that speaks for itself.
At ₹290 per meal, I haven’t yet explored their other dishes, but for this veg thali alone, I’d say Tilak’s Kitchen is a must-visit if you’re looking for simple, satisfying, and authentic Telugu flavors.
