Theta Theta Telugu

4.5

A premium Telugu dining experience where exceptional fish curry and hospitality make every rupee count.

12 March 2026

I visited Theta Theta Telugu, and this turned out to be one of those rare meals where even a ₹4000+ bill feels justified.

The experience started with a Tomato Rasam, served as a welcome drink. It was refreshing, light, and a perfect way to begin the meal.

Next came the Chintapandu Ghee Prawns. This dish had a unique tangy flavor, and the prawns were well cooked. The buns served alongside were soft and good enough to enjoy even without the gravy.

The Crispy Chicken with Peanut Powder was another standout. It was crunchy, flavorful, and one of those dishes that’s hard to explain but extremely satisfying.

The Tamarind Fish Curry was easily the highlight of the entire meal. Served boiling hot with white rice, the dish had perfectly infused tamarind flavor and shallots, making it one of the best fish curries I’ve had.

We also tried the Tawa Coconut Kheema Rice, which was decent, but after the fish curry, it felt slightly overshadowed.

For drinks, the Sugandha Soda gave a nostalgic feel, like tasting an original classic after a long time.

The hospitality was impressive throughout. Dishes were served in a smooth flow, the staff were friendly, and the meal ended with an innovative paan chocolate, which was a nice finishing touch.

One small disappointment was the price of white rice (₹225), which felt unnecessarily high.

They offer valet parking, but there is no wheelchair accessibility, and as always, kitchen hygiene is something you should personally verify.

The total bill came to ₹4166 for three members.
