White Hart - Kitchen & lounge

3.5
A great hangout spot with excellent starters, but main course dishes fall short.
17 October 2024
Visited The White Hart, and it turned out to be a great spot for a relaxed weekend hangout, especially if you’re in the mood for chilled beer and starters.
The ambience is cozy and comfortable, making it ideal for spending time with friends.
Coming to the food, the chicken chips were a standout. They were crispy on the outside, soft inside, and nicely spicy, making them a must-try for chicken lovers.
The crispy chicken burger also impressed with its slight traditional touch, adding a unique twist to a regular burger.
Another highlight was the pan-fried chilli fish, which had a great balance of spice and tanginess, making it one of the best dishes we tried.
However, the main course didn’t live up to the same standard. The chicken tikka masala pulao was disappointing, lacking depth and flavor. The peri peri pizza, even with a thin crust, felt bland and underwhelming.
Overall, this place works best if you stick to starters and drinks, rather than expecting a full-course meal.
