The House of Koyilaa

3.5

A mixed experience elevated by an outstanding Mushroom Pulao that makes a revisit worthwhile.

30 November 2025

I visited The House of Koyilaa in Kavuri Hills. The ambience is pleasant with a clean dining vibe. Service was slightly slow but manageable. The coffee section seemed to move faster, and overall it feels like a decent casual dine in spot.

We ordered across starters, beverages, and mains. One dish did not work, but the pulao alone made the visit worth it.

The Guntur Vankaya Perugu Bajji priced at ₹255 felt watery and slightly raw in flavour. It was not enjoyable.

The Mushroom Pulao priced at ₹325 was piping hot, aromatic, and flavour packed. Easily one of the best pulaos I had in 2025. I actually returned the next day with friends just for this dish.

Water was ₹30.

The Iced Cappuccino priced at ₹219 was not liked by my friend.

The Affogato priced at ₹239 surprised me. Even with vanilla ice cream instead of gelato, it tasted really good.

Overall, the experience felt mixed, but the Mushroom Pulao clearly stands out as a repeat worthy dish.
