The Davanagere Benne Dosa ( Meals)

I visited The Davanagere Benne Dosa in Madhapur during the afternoon and ordered their veg meals. If one key element had been right, the experience would have felt complete. Unfortunately, service affected the overall impression.

The veg meals included several items.

The Rava Kesari was genuinely good and clearly the highlight.

The Roti Pachadi was too watery and not enjoyable.

The Tomato Rice was average.

The Dal (Pappu) tasted good and had potential, but proper tempering would have elevated it further.

The Brinjal Curry was decent, and the Cabbage Fry was just okay.

All items were served at once, and the staff moved away. Asking for refills or even requesting rasam and sambar did not feel practical due to the service gap. Eventually, I skipped rasam and sambar and finished with white rice and curd.

That small but important service gap spoiled what could have been a decent veg meals experience.
