Terra Cafe & Bistro

I visited Terra Cafe & Bistro in Jubilee Hills and tried several items from their menu.

We started with the Cranberry Coffee Barista (₹383). The first sip felt quite bitter, but after mixing properly, the tart cranberry flavor balanced the bitterness, creating a refreshing drink. I am not sure how the original version is supposed to taste, but overall I was satisfied with it.

Next was the Cold Coffee Barista (₹292). This was a proper barista style cold coffee with no excessive sweetness. If you enjoy strong coffee flavors, this is definitely worth trying.

For food, we ordered the BBQ Chicken Pizza (₹599). It had a thin and crunchy crust with balanced cheese and a good BBQ chicken aroma. The edges were cooked well and not burnt, making it a decent pizza overall.

The Grilled Chicken Burger (₹569) came with a juicy chicken patty grilled nicely, but the bun felt very basic, which slightly reduced the overall experience. Still, it can work for someone looking for a protein heavy burger.

We also tried the Thai Green Curry (Veg) (₹539). I specifically requested a creamy and thick curry, and the kitchen delivered exactly that. The curry had fresh herbs and coconut flavor, which worked well. However, the dish was served with basmati rice instead of jasmine rice, which was disappointing.

The biggest downside during the visit was availability and service delays. Nearly 70 percent of the menu items were unavailable, and the Thai curry took about 1.5 hours to arrive. When asked about the delay, the server casually mentioned that the main chef was not available.

Another issue was that beverages were not eligible for the 50 percent Zomato District discount, which increased the overall bill.

The cafe ambience was very basic, so it is not the kind of place you visit for the vibe. If you plan to go here, patience is required.

The total bill came to ₹1725, including ₹814 for beverages without discount and ₹896 for food after 50 percent discount, with the rest being platform charges.
