A mixed dining experience where a few tasty dishes are overshadowed by pricing and service issues.
11 March 2025
I visited Telugu Table in Jubilee Hills to try a few dishes from their menu. The experience turned out to be a mix of good flavors and some disappointing aspects.
The Puttagodugu Mirchi Pakodi was one of the better items we tried. It was fresh, crispy, and nicely spicy, making it a satisfying starter.
Next was the Kobbari Annam. At first look, it created a bit of doubt about how it would taste, but once mixed with the Mamsam Iguru, the combination actually worked well and tasted good.
The Prawn Pickle Rice arrived with an artistic presentation, which looked impressive on the plate. However, considering the price of ₹599, the dish did not feel worth the cost.
For beverages, we tried the Cranberry Delight, which was just fine and nothing extraordinary.
Another issue was that regular drinking water was not available, and only bottled water was served. One surprising moment was when the staff mentioned that the desserts were not fresh, which was quite unexpected to hear directly from them.
Overall, the experience felt average, with a few good dishes, but the pricing and service aspects were disappointing.
