Swarag Military Hotel

I visited Swarag Military Hotel, and right from the entrance, the vibes were energetic and inviting, setting the tone for the meal.

We ordered the Non-Veg Combo and Veg Meals without much delay.

The Non-Veg Combo was quite elaborate. It included white rice, chittimuthayala rice, pulao rice, and biryani rice, paired with mutton curry, chicken curry, prawns curry, and egg curry. There’s also an option to go for a 2-curry combo with unlimited rice, which adds flexibility.

Taste-wise, this turned out to be one of the better non-veg combos. The prawns curry was quite spicy, making it perfect for spice lovers. The mutton and chicken curries had a nostalgic, homestyle flavor, reminding me of childhood meals.

My friend tried the veg meals and mentioned that all the curries were consistently good, making it a solid option even for vegetarians.

We also ordered grape juice, which unfortunately was not up to the mark and can be skipped.

On the positive side, the service was quick and efficient, which made the overall experience smooth.

The total bill came to ₹1335, which felt reasonable considering the quantity and variety. This is where the “Military Hotel” concept really makes sense simple setup, generous portions, and satisfying food.
