I visited Subbayya Gari Hotel in Kakinada, a place widely known for its traditional hospitality and elaborate meals. However, this visit felt slightly different compared to the reputation the restaurant is known for.

One issue that stood out was the behavior of some servers, who were scolding customers for not tipping, which felt uncomfortable and affected the overall dining experience.

Coming to the meal itself, the price was ₹250 per person, and the spread resembled a traditional wedding style feast. The meal included four types of sweets, four varieties of flavored rice, and around six to seven curries, offering plenty of variety on the plate.

In terms of taste, the experience was mixed. Some dishes were delicious and enjoyable, while a few others felt average and less memorable.

Compared to the Hyderabad branch, the Kakinada outlet offers a wider variety of items, which is a positive point for those who enjoy a large traditional meal.

Overall, it remains a good option for people who enjoy hearty Andhra style meals, but the service experience during this visit slightly affected the impression.
