Spice 6 – The Arab Villagio

0

A disappointing Middle Eastern meal with bland mandi, undercooked meat, and poorly prepared desserts.

15 January 2025

I visited Spice 6 – The Arab Villagio in Banjara Hills to try a few of their popular Middle Eastern dishes. Unfortunately, the experience turned out to be extremely disappointing.

The first dish was Laham Mandi. The presentation looked fine, but the taste was completely bland. It felt more like plain rice without proper seasoning or flavor, which made the dish very underwhelming.

Next was Pathar ka Gosht. This dish was a major letdown because the meat felt undercooked and almost raw, making it difficult to enjoy.

For dessert, I tried the Custard Apple Souffle. The preparation was poor, and seeds were left inside the dessert, which made the eating experience unpleasant.

The final dessert was Umm Ali, but it didn’t feel properly prepared. Instead of the rich texture expected from Umm Ali, it felt like bread soaked in raw milk, lacking balance and flavor.

The service was also disappointing, which added to the overall negative experience.

The total bill came to ₹1890, which felt completely unjustified considering the quality of food and service.
