I visited Skanda Mess in Madhapur and tried their budget meals priced at ₹140. The ambience is simple, service felt a bit rushed, parking is on the road, and wheelchair access is not available.
That said, for ₹140, the meal honestly delivered better than expected.
The meals included laddu, flavored rice, pappu, iguru, pesara punugu koora, and aloo fry. There was also a bonus egg bhurji, which I skipped since I wanted to stick to veg.
The Rasam tasted good, and the curd rice was okay. Overall, for this price range, it stands out as one of the better value meals options.
Three members together came to ₹440, which feels justified for the quantity and taste offered.
