Savya

2.5
Good ambience and service, but the veg thali lacks value and consistency.
18 November 2025
I visited Savya in Madhapur. The ambience feels good and service is quick, but the South Indian veg thali did not deliver a strong value narrative. Some items worked, others missed the mark, leading to an uneven experience.
The South Indian Veg Thali priced at ₹350 included bellam godhuma payasam, roti pachadi, gare, pulihora, and regular accompaniments. The payasam had a crunchy top and soft inside texture, which worked well. Roti pachadi was slightly spicy and tangy. Gare felt normal. Pulihora looked tempting but tasted average. Overall, the combo did not leave a strong impression.
The Poori with Pappu Koora performed better than the rice items. The poori paired nicely with the pappu koora and felt more satisfying.
The Vada Curry was underwhelming, lacking proper flavour infusion.
Sambar, Rasam, and Curd were all just okay.
The Masala Chai priced at ₹90 turned out to be good and was a pleasant way to end the meal.
Despite the good ambience and quick service, the thali did not feel worth ₹350.
