Sattvam - Revisit

4.5
A consistent vegetarian buffet with unique flavors, excellent dhokla, and standout desserts.
25 July 2025
On a revisit after 10 months, I went back to Sattvam in Banjara Hills. The moment I stepped in, the same positive and spiritual vibe that I experienced earlier was still present.
Starting with the soup, during my previous visit I remember thinking, “Is this how soup is supposed to taste?” because of its unique flavor profile. This time, they presented the soup in an even more creative way, which made the experience interesting again.
The starters are served directly at the table, which keeps the flow of food smooth. Most items were good, though the tawa fried momo felt slightly average.
In the salad section, the salads were fresh and enjoyable, but the dhokla completely stole the show. It was soft, flavorful, and easily one of the best items during the visit.
The pani puri also stood out. My friend, who is a big pani puri fan, was genuinely impressed by the taste here.
Moving to the rice items, pulihora, flavored rice, and curd rice maintained the same consistency and flavor I remembered from my earlier visit.
The Masala Cheela felt just okay, and because of that I didn’t feel like exploring the main course much during this visit.
Desserts were a pleasant surprise. We tried brownie, fruit custard, pastries, and chocolate mousse, and all of them were fresh and enjoyable.
From the Indian sweets section, I tried besan laddu, gujiya, gulab jamun, and moong dal halwa. Everything tasted good, but the gulab jamun was the standout. It was perfectly cooked and extremely soft.
Earlier, whenever someone asked me for vegetarian buffet recommendations, I used to mention Sattvam. After this visit, I can recommend it with even more confidence.
The buffet price is ₹809 per person, and the total bill including taxes came to ₹1700.
The restaurant offers valet parking, but wheelchair accessibility is not available.
