Sangamam (Closed)

4

A Telugu fusion spot with standout comfort dishes and great ambience, but inconsistent execution.

19 September 2024

Visited Sangamam, a place that blends traditional Telugu flavors with a few modern twists. The experience turned out to be a mix of hits and misses.

We started with the Ragi Mudda with Konaseema Kodi Kura, and this was easily the highlight of the meal. With a touch of ghee, it delivered that perfect comfort food experience, rich, flavorful, and satisfying.

The Bandi Style Chicken Pakodi didn’t live up to expectations. It felt underwhelming and lacked punch, especially compared to other dishes on the table.

On the brighter side, the Korean Spicy Chicken Wings were memorable, with a well-balanced mix of spice and sweetness that worked really well.

The Minnapa Garelu paired beautifully with the Konaseema Kodi Kura, making it another combination worth trying.

However, the Special Sangamam Pulao was a letdown. For something labeled “special,” it felt quite average and didn’t stand out.

Where Sangamam truly shines is in its service and ambience. The staff were attentive, and the overall dining atmosphere was excellent, making the visit enjoyable despite the inconsistencies in food.
