Potful Biryani

2.5
Attractive pot packaging but the biryani itself lacks the flavor expected from the hype.
2 April 2025
I tried Potful Biryani in Hyderabad after several followers suggested giving it a try.
We ordered Chicken 65 Biryani and Boneless Chicken Biryani to see whether the place lived up to the online hype.
The first challenge actually came from the packaging itself. Opening the pot was quite difficult, which made me wonder how inconvenient it could become during office gatherings or group orders.
Once opened, the biryani had to be mixed properly in a separate bowl to bring the flavors together.
However, the real disappointment was the taste. The dish felt more like plain basmati rice mixed with boiled chicken pieces, without the expected salt, spice, or masala balance usually associated with biryani. On the positive side, the food did seem freshly prepared.
While the presentation looked impressive with the fancy pot packaging, the taste did not justify the hype surrounding the brand.
The total bill came to ₹944, including GST and Swiggy platform fees.
