I tried the Jackfruit (Kathal) Biryani from Potful in Madhapur after seeing many positive comments about it.
This time, the biryani arrived neatly packed in a bowl, which was a nice improvement compared to earlier experiences where the packaging made it slightly difficult to handle.
After mixing the masala, rice, and jackfruit pieces together, the combination created a well balanced bite with good flavor.
In terms of taste, the biryani was quite impressive. The spices blended well with the texture of the jackfruit, making it feel like one of the better versions of jackfruit biryani I have tried.
The only drawback was that the biryani was not served hot, which slightly reduced the overall experience.
Along with the biryani, they served raita, which paired well with the rice. However, a cup of mirchi ka salan would have completed the dish much better.
The total bill came to ₹355.
