Pandem Punju (Temporarily closed)

A confusing buffet concept with limited transparency and inconsistent food quality despite the hype.
29 September 2025
I visited Pandem Punju in Jubilee Hills after seeing multiple reels promoting their unlimited buffet concept.
The buffet pricing is ₹899 for non veg and ₹799 for veg. What makes this place different from typical buffets is that instead of walking to a buffet counter, you select dishes from a large menu. The menu includes around 8 soups, multiple starters, main course items, and desserts.
However, there is an important catch. The dish selection is done per table, not per person. This means everyone at the table must share the same selected items. Unfortunately, this detail was not mentioned on the menu, not explained in reels, and not clarified before ordering, which felt misleading.
Coming to the food.
The Karvepaku Kodi Kebab tasted good and stood out among the dishes we tried. Around three items were average, while most of the remaining dishes failed to impress.
Service was another concern. During our visit, staff members were openly arguing, which created an uncomfortable dining environment. When we raised concerns with the manager about lack of transparency in the buffet concept, the issue was not properly addressed.
The total bill came to ₹2727.
