Pakka Telangana

3.5

Authentic Telangana mutton and chicken shine, but the fish pulusu needs serious improvement.

28 November 2025

I tried multiple Telangana style dishes here, including mutton curry with bagara rice, chicken fry, mutton liver, and chepala pulusu. What stood out initially was that the team openly acknowledged that their fish pulusu is still being worked on. That level of honesty felt genuinely impressive.

The Telangana Mutton Curry with Bagara Rice delivered medium spice, tender pieces, and authentic Telangana flavour. It was truly satisfying.

The Chicken Fry was spicy, perfectly fried, and came with onion gravy that elevated the dish. A strong performer.

The Mutton Liver was cooked well but extremely spicy. Those who enjoy high spice levels may appreciate it more.

The Chepala Pulusu did not work. It was very watery and felt like mixed fish pieces put together without depth of flavour.

The Bagara Rice, served with the combos, was flavorful and consistent across plates.

Ambience is simple. It follows a self service format. Wheelchair access is not available. Parking is on the roadside. Kitchen hygiene should be personally verified by customers.
