Pakka Local Restaurant

3.5

A decent dining spot with good prawn pulao and desserts, slightly held back by slow service.

30 October 2024

Visited Pakka Local Restaurant, and the experience was good overall, but with a few mixed feelings.

We started with the Kaju Kodi Roast (₹440). The first few bites didn’t impress much, but as we continued, the flavors gradually built up, making it a decent dish in the end.

Next was the Kotheemera Prawn Pulao (₹580). The prawns were well cooked with no fishy smell, which is always a good sign. Overall, it turned out to be a balanced and enjoyable dish.

For drinks, the Orange Juice (₹180) was tart with no added sugar, which might work for some, but it felt slightly overpriced for what was served.

Coming to desserts, the Caramel Custard Pudding (₹240) was something I liked, though my friend didn’t enjoy it as much. The Apricot Delight (₹240), on the other hand, was a hit for my friend and decent for me.

One downside was the service, which was slow, so you’ll need some patience while dining here.

The total bill came to ₹1972.
