This review is part of Homegrown Heroes – Episode 4, where I feature small homegrown food ventures.
This is not a paid promotion but a barter collaboration, and the feedback remains completely honest.
I tried a few desserts from Out of the Oven, starting with the Cupcake (₹100). It was soft, visually cute, and had a nicely balanced sweetness that worked well as a simple dessert.
Next were the Brownie Bites (₹220). These were rich, fudgy, and easily the best item of the lot, delivering the kind of dense chocolate texture brownie lovers usually look for.
The Mango Tres Leches (₹200) was another strong performer. It was creamy, nicely soaked, and well balanced without becoming overly sweet, making it a good option for people who enjoy milk soaked desserts.
However, the Cookie (₹100) did not impress much. It felt slightly dry and floury, and the flavor really improved only when the chocolate chunks appeared.
Overall, a nice set of desserts from a small homegrown baker, with a couple of items definitely worth trying.
