⚠️ Note: This restaurant is now permanently closed.

On 12 August 2024,

I visited Nidhivan Restaurant at Kukatpally Y Junction, lured in by all the reel hype. Sadly, my experience turned out to be quite mixed.

We began with their crispy corn—priced at a steep ₹270 for just 50 grams, making it one of the most expensive versions I’ve had in Hyderabad.

The much-hyped Mega Star Chiranjeevi Chepala Pulusu with steam rice was a letdown, failing to live up to expectations. On the other hand, the Chicken Tikka Masala with butter naans was a winner in terms of taste, though the portion size was disappointingly small.

We also tried the Rayalaseema Ragi Sankati with Natukodi Pulusu, which had good flavors, but the rice felt a bit overwhelming compared to the curry balance.

While the ambience of the restaurant was top-notch, the service was painfully slow, so expect a wait if you go during busy hours.
