Naughty Kodi

I visited Naughty Kodi in Jubilee Hills and tried a mix of starters, drinks, and main dishes. While the ambience and service were impressive, the food experience turned out to be largely disappointing.

We started with Pineapple Masala Cheekulu, which turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The grilled pineapple combined with a spicy, tangy masala created a unique flavor combination that worked surprisingly well.

For drinks, I initially ordered Fruit Punch, but the staff recommended Mohabbat Ki Sharath instead. It was Rooh Afza mixed with milk and watermelon pieces, presented attractively with a balloon garnish. The presentation was cute, but taste-wise it felt below average.

Next came Pachi Mamidikaya Cheppala Pulusu, which was disappointing. The raw mango seemed added late, the gravy lacked proper consistency, and despite a generous quantity, the dish had very little flavor.

The Curd Rice was another letdown. It was extremely cold, almost like ice cream, clearly served straight from the fridge without considering serving temperature.

For dessert, we tried the Chef Special Sahi Tukda, which unfortunately didn’t work. It was basically soggy bread with condensed milk poured on top, lacking balance and depth of flavor.

On the positive side, the ambience was pleasant and the service staff were friendly, smiling, and attentive, which made the experience slightly better.

The bill initially showed ₹2094, but after requesting removal of the service charge, the final bill came to ₹1912.
