Missamma

I visited Missamma Family Restaurant in Moosapet and tried a few dishes that combined sweet, spicy, and comforting flavors.

The first dish was Spicy Pineapple Tikka (₹285). The combination of sweet pineapple and spicy seasoning worked surprisingly well and created a nice balance that immediately stood out.

Next came Aadavi Puttagodugu Vepudu (₹285). The mushrooms were crispy on the outside and soft inside, which made the texture enjoyable. However, the extra powder topping slightly altered the balance of flavors.

The Pachi Mirchi Paneer Pulao (₹315) delivered a good spicy kick, with fresh paneer and flavorful rice that came together nicely.

Another comforting dish was Ghee Pappu Charu Annam (₹255). The rich aroma of ghee combined with the pappu charu flavor made it a satisfying and homely dish.

For drinks, we tried the Mango Lassi (₹125). Unfortunately, it tasted artificial, and it would have been better if this was clearly mentioned on the menu.

The service was quick, but there was a minor language barrier since most staff were North Indian and communication required some basic Hindi. The ambience was good, valet parking was available, but wheelchair accessibility was not provided.

The total bill came to ₹1392, which became ₹1183 after a 15% Swiggy Dineout discount.
