Medley – Pure Vegetarian Restaurant

3

Classy ambience and a great pinacolada, but slow service and overpriced dishes limit the overall experience.

4 July 2025

I visited Medley – Pure Vegetarian Restaurant in Jubilee Hills. The place offers a classy ambience and upscale dining setup, but the overall experience raised questions about pricing versus value.

We started with Cream of Almond and Broccoli Soup (₹275). The soup was creamy with a pleasant nutty crunch and an interesting twist, making it one of the better items during the visit.

Next was Crispy Corn (₹495). Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to its name. The coating was too thick and felt more like eating boondhi rather than crispy corn. The taste was just okay and certainly not worth the price or the expectation.

Among the beverages, the Virgin Pinacolada (₹295) stood out as the highlight of the meal. It was creamy, refreshing, and well balanced, making it easily the most enjoyable item we tried.

For the main course, we ordered Nizami Tarkari Biryani (₹495). While the spices seemed correct, the rice was undercooked and the overall flavor profile felt unclear, which made the dish disappointing.

The Dal Khichdi (₹350) was hot, light, and comforting in taste, but the pricing felt excessive for such a simple dish. It leaves you wondering whether the experience justifies paying that much for a basic preparation.

The ambience is elegant and pleasant, but the service was very slow, which impacted the overall experience.

The restaurant provides valet parking, but wheelchair accessibility is not available.

The total bill came to ₹2140.
