Maryada Ramanna

2.5

Great starter with Vetapalem vetamamsam kodi vepudu, but the main course fails to impress.

27 April 2025

We visited Maryada Ramanna Multi Cuisine Restaurant near the Google office in Kothaguda.

The visit started with a funny moment. When I ordered Mamidi Kaya Kodi Vepudu, my friend immediately reacted and said, “Now watch this,” before ordering Vetapalem Vetamamsam Kodi Vepudu. Naturally, the table turned into a small debate about which dish would perform better.

For the main course, we ordered Ulavacharu Chicken Biryani and Ravulapalem Kodi Pulao.

The Ulavacharu Chicken Biryani turned out to be below average. The ulavacharu broth felt sour and not very fresh, which affected the overall flavor of the biryani.

The Ravulapalem Kodi Pulao was even more disappointing. Instead of the rich traditional style expected from Ravulapalem dishes, it felt closer to normal fried rice, which was a big letdown.

We also tried Sithapal Rabidi, but it tasted like diluted custard apple juice, making it another weak item.

Among the starters, the clear winner was my friend's pick: Vetapalem Vetamamsam Kodi Vepudu. It was spicy, tender, and packed with flavor, easily the best dish of the meal.

The Mamidi Kaya Kodi Vepudu had nice tangy flavors, but the chicken pieces felt slightly hard, which affected the texture.

Service during the visit was very quick, though it is always advisable to check kitchen hygiene before dining.

The total bill came to ₹2631.
