Kumbhakk mana starters

3

Clean kitchen and decent starters, but service delays and weak rasam rice affect the overall experience.

23 January 2025

I visited Kumbhakk Mana Starters to try a few dishes. The experience had some positives, but a few aspects could have been better.

One thing that stood out immediately was the cleanliness of the kitchen. The setup looked neat and hygienic, and they also maintained separate sections for veg and non veg preparation, which is a good practice.

I started with Andhra Apollo Fish. The fish was fresh, soft, and nicely cooked, with flavors that were well balanced. Overall, it was a decent dish and one of the better items of the meal.

Next was Bandi Style Egg Fried Rice. The dish had balanced seasoning without being overly spicy, which made it enjoyable and easy to eat.

However, the Rasam Rice Bowl was disappointing. Instead of a rich rasam flavor, it felt more like boiled rice mixed with masala water, lacking the depth and comfort expected from rasam rice.

The service was another issue. All the dishes were served together after around 20 minutes, which caused some items to lose their heat and freshness by the time we started eating.

As for the ambience, the restaurant had unique seating arrangements, but they felt slightly uncomfortable for a relaxed dining experience.

The total bill came to ₹500.
