Krishna’s Kitchen

2.5
Overpriced naans and an underwhelming kaju masala overshadow an otherwise decent dal tadka and drink.
4 August 2025
I visited Krishna’s Kitchen in Jubilee Hills. What stood out the most during this visit was surprisingly the ₹100 plain naan, which ended up being the most disappointing part of the meal.
We ordered Dal Tadka, Kaju Masala, Plain Naan, Butter Naan, and Virgin Pinacolada.
The Dal Tadka (₹300) had a ghee-fried crunchy tadka that added a spicy punch. It paired well with naan and the quantity was decent for the price.
Next was the Kaju Masala (₹510). Unfortunately, it tasted more like a sweet dish rather than a typical rich gravy. The staff mentioned it also included badam and pista, but even after replacing the dish once, the taste didn’t improve much. Overall, it didn’t justify the price.
The naans themselves were soft, but the pricing felt unreasonable.
Charging ₹100 for plain naan and ₹120 for butter naan felt excessive. The explanation given was that the ingredients are sourced directly from farms, but it still didn’t justify the cost.
The Virgin Pinacolada (₹185) turned out to be a good choice. It was creamy, coconut dominant, and had a balanced sweet tangy flavor.
The restaurant offers valet parking, but wheelchair accessibility is not available. Kitchen hygiene is something customers should personally check.
The total bill came to ₹1481.
