Khaleel Bhai Family Restaurant

I visited Khaleel Bhai Family Restaurant in Auto Nagar, Vijayawada to try a mix of starters and biryani. The experience had a few strong highlights but also some drawbacks.

Among the starters, the Prawns Dry stood out the most. The prawns were crispy on the outside and perfectly tender inside, making it a well executed dish.

Next was the Mutton Liver Fry. It had a unique flavor profile and tasted decent overall, though it may appeal more to people who enjoy strong liver flavors.

Since one of our friends preferred vegetarian food, we ordered Veg Biryani as well. Unfortunately, they felt the taste wasn’t impressive, making it the weakest dish on the table.

The highlight of the meal was the Mutton Dum Biryani. The mutton pieces were well cooked and flavorful, and the rice had good aroma and taste, making it the best dish we tried. However, the quantity felt quite limited, and we had to order more to feel satisfied.

Another positive aspect was the service, which was exceptional and attentive throughout the meal.

The only concern was the pricing, which felt high compared to the portion size.

The total bill came to ₹3016.
