Karachi Bakery

A disappointing snack experience where none of the dishes lived up to expectations.

12 March 2025

I visited Karachi Bakery in Madhapur to try a few popular snack items. Unfortunately, the experience turned out to be quite disappointing.

The first dish I tried was Chole Bhature, which turned out to be one of the worst versions I’ve had. The bhatura was very hard, lacking the soft and fluffy texture it should normally have. The chole felt like a creamy paste with almost no real flavor, making the dish completely underwhelming.

Next was the Raj Kachori. This used to be a reliable item at Karachi Bakery, but the current version felt very different. The dish was overly sweet, and the curd had a slightly off taste, which spoiled the overall experience.

To finish, I ordered Chai and Bun Muska, expecting at least a decent tea break. Unfortunately, both the chai and bun muska were extremely disappointing, to the point that they weren’t even worth discussing in detail.

Overall, the food quality did not justify the price. The food items cost ₹440, and the chai with bun muska added another ₹125, bringing the total bill to ₹565.

Considering the reputation of Karachi Bakery, the experience felt far below expectations.
