A comforting meal where the royyapottu charu with omelet delivers a satisfying rice combo.
18 March 2025
I visited Jaaju Kitchen & Bar in Madeenaguda to try a few dishes that caught my attention on the menu.
The first dish I tried was Royyapottu Charu with Omelet. When paired with hot rice, the combination worked really well. The omelet was the highlight, cooked perfectly and adding great flavor to the meal. The charu itself tasted good, though it could have been slightly thicker for a richer experience. The combo is priced at ₹345 and the portion is sufficient for two people, making it a good value dish.
Next, I tried the Godavari Chepala Pulusu. After trying fish curry at several restaurants, I realized that the true depth of flavor usually comes when the curry is simmered for a long time, something restaurants often cannot achieve due to time constraints. Because of that, the taste felt less intense than expected, but the fish piece was fresh and the portion size was good.
For a beverage, I ordered a Pina Colada, which turned out to be average and nothing particularly memorable.
Overall, the ambience and service were good, making the dining experience comfortable.
The total bill came to ₹1033.
