Isthham Kitchen

2.5

Food struggles with consistency, but exceptional service leaves a positive impression.

26 September 2024

Visited Isthham Kitchen, and the experience turned out to be a mix of misses in food but a win in service.

We started with the mutton soup, which was expected to carry a mutton roast-like depth, but it turned out to be too bland and lacking flavor.

Next, the boiled mutton didn’t meet expectations either. It was neither crispy nor particularly flavorful, making it quite forgettable.

The Pellituri Mamsam Pulao was on the opposite end of the spectrum. It was overly spicy, and the rice and mutton didn’t blend well, affecting the overall balance of the dish.

On the brighter side, the fruit punch was refreshing and enjoyable, and the special curd rice stood out as a comfort dish done right.

What truly made a difference here was the customer service. The chef personally came over, took feedback seriously, and even served complimentary Chicken Majestic, showing genuine effort to improve the experience. That level of involvement is rare and definitely appreciated.

The total bill came to ₹1757.
