Heart Cup Coffee

I visited Heart Cup Coffee in Kondapur expecting a decent café experience, but the visit turned out to be largely disappointing.

We started with Masala Chai, which unfortunately tasted like extremely diluted surf water, lacking both flavor and strength. It didn’t resemble a proper masala chai at all.

The Kaju Fry turned out to be the only saving grace of the meal. The kajus were whole, high quality, perfectly fried, crispy, and coated with balanced spices. The portion size was also generous, making it the only dish worth appreciating.

Next came the Mutton Keema Pulao, which was a complete disaster. Instead of a properly cooked pulao, it felt like plain boiled rice mixed with a spicy paste, lacking depth, aroma, or proper integration of flavors.

The Alfredo Penne Pasta didn’t perform any better. The sauce lacked creaminess, and the pasta itself was undercooked, making the dish quite disappointing.

Another issue was the staff attitude. Responses from the waiters were abrupt, and many items were met with repeated “not available” answers, which further affected the dining experience.

The ambience was decent, but it clearly needs better maintenance to match expectations from a café of this scale.

Overall, except for the kaju fry, the experience fell short in both food quality and service.

The total bill came to ₹2166.
