Gamyam Telugu Bar & Kitchen

Excellent Telangana flavors with standout mutton dalcha, but service needs serious improvement.
19 March 2026
I visited Gamyam Telugu Bar & Kitchen, a place known for serving Telangana-style dishes with a modern touch. While the food made a strong impression, the service didn’t match up.
We started with the Mutton Dalcha with Bagara Rice, and this was easily the highlight of the meal. The dal was perfectly infused into the mutton, creating a rich, flavorful dish that paired exceptionally well with the bagara rice.
Next was the Pachi Mirchi Kodi Pulao, a chef special. The dish had boneless chicken in semi-gravy form, with a good balance of spice and slight tanginess. The quantity was satisfying, making it a solid main course option.
For drinks, we tried the Jama Jolt, which had a spicy mixed flavor profile and felt quite refreshing.
Coming to desserts, the Tres Leches stood out. It was served in a large portion with a moist base and creamy topping, making it one of the best items we had.
The Double Ka Meetha Rolls had a unique presentation with kova filling. The taste was decent, though not as impressive as the Tres Leches.
While the food quality was impressive, the service was disappointing, which affected the overall experience.
On the positive side, the ambience was very good, making it a nice place for dining out. They also offer valet parking, which is convenient. However, there is no wheelchair accessibility, and like many places, kitchen hygiene is something you should personally verify.
The total bill came to ₹2215 for three members.
