Flavours of Andhra

1.5
A place that promises Andhra flavours but fails in execution, service, and basics.

Visited Flavours of Andhra. The name promises authenticity, but the experience did not live up to it.
Right from the start, the service felt disorganized. Staff were arguing among themselves about who should take the order, which set the tone for what followed.
We began with the Godavari Fried Chicken (₹439). It came as 8 pieces, but the taste was very basic. Needed lemon and onion just to make it work, which says enough.
Next was the Fish Pulusu with Ghee Rice (₹499). Instead of ghee rice, bagara rice was served. When questioned, the response was “we prefer it this way”, which is not how orders work. After escalating to the manager, a replacement came, but even then, it was unclear whether it was actually ghee rice or not.
The fish pulusu itself was a bigger disappointment, tasting like fish cooked in plain water, lacking depth, spice balance, or any proper Andhra character.
The total bill came to ₹1055, and considering the issues with food, service, and order accuracy, it felt completely unjustified.
There is no valet parking and no wheelchair accessibility. As always, kitchen hygiene is something you should personally check.
This review is based on my personal experience and opinions. It is not intended to defame, mislead, or harm any business. Food quality, taste, and service may vary for different customers. Viewers are encouraged to experience and make their own decisions.
