FitCrop Low GI Bio Fortified Rice

A personal CGM test showed a noticeable improvement with Low GI rice, but individual results will always vary.
21 May 2026
On 21 May 2026, I tested FitCrop Low GI Bio Fortified Rice on myself instead of relying only on claims. Since this is a paid promotion, I wanted to compare it under the same conditions before sharing my experience.
For two consecutive days, I ate the same quantity of rice, curd, and onion at the same time. The only difference was the rice itself. On the first day, I had regular rice. On the second day, I had FitCrop Low GI Bio Fortified Rice while monitoring my glucose levels using a CGM.
The results were not identical, but the difference was clearly noticeable.
With regular rice, my glucose levels stayed above the normal range for about 135 minutes. After switching to FitCrop Low GI Rice, that duration reduced to around 45 minutes, bringing my glucose back to the normal range about three times faster.
Another thing I personally noticed was the absence of the usual post-lunch drowsiness after eating the Low GI rice. If you're someone who feels sleepy after meals, that's something worth paying attention to.
According to FitCrop, this rice also contains 10 grams of protein per 100 grams, which is considerably higher than regular white rice.
The price is definitely higher than regular rice, and that's something to consider. This is not a recommendation for everyone to switch immediately.
However, if you're exploring better rice options for yourself or a family member managing diabetes, it may be worth discussing with your healthcare professional and trying for yourself.
As with any food comparison, individual glucose responses can vary, so your results may not be the same as mine.
