Devarabanda Kalchina Mamsam

I visited Devarabanda Kalchina Mamsam in Kondapur, a place that has been heavily promoted by influencers, especially for its Kalchina Mamsam (grilled meat). Naturally, expectations were high, but the experience didn’t live up to the hype.

The restaurant promotes Kalchina Mamsam as a must try dish, but the preparation felt disappointing. The dishes were quite oily, and the flavors didn’t stand out as expected.

One of the most disappointing items was the Mutton Liver BBQ. Instead of having a smoky grilled flavor, it was overburnt and had a strong smell, making it difficult to enjoy. Honestly, it felt more like “Mutton Boggulu” than BBQ, as the dish barely resembled a proper grilled preparation.

Another much talked about item was Chaddi Annam, which also failed to impress. Considering how much it was hyped, the taste felt quite underwhelming.

For the total bill of ₹1250, the overall experience didn’t feel worth the price.

Despite the heavy promotion around this place, the food quality during this visit did not justify the hype. In my opinion, Hyderabad has many better options for grilled meat lovers.
