Devamrutham

1

A meal with good intentions but completely let down by poor execution and imbalance in flavors.

28 October 2024

Visited Devamrutham with high expectations, but unfortunately, this turned out to be a completely disappointing meal.

We started with the Pulihora, which surprisingly had no salt at all. It felt bland and unfinished, making it not worth trying.

The Paneer Curry went to the opposite extreme. It was overloaded with salt, making it almost inedible.

Next came the Smoky Carrot Halwa, which sounded interesting on paper, but in reality, it didn’t work at all and lacked appeal.

The Bitter Gourd Fry, intended as a healthier option, was extremely bitter and poorly executed, making it hard to enjoy.

Even the curd, which was meant to be gut-friendly, couldn’t salvage the meal.

Considering the total bill of ₹400, the experience felt like a complete miss in terms of both taste and execution.
