Chutneys

Premium pricing with disappointing execution makes this a forgettable tiffin experience.

Visited Chutneys, and this turned out to be one of the most disappointing tiffin experiences.
Despite the grand presentation and brand image, the food had no connection to taste. In fact, home food or even nearby street vendors offer better quality at a fraction of the price.
Starting with the sambar (₹150), it was a major letdown. The taste was worse than basic hostel food, lacking depth, balance, or freshness.
The dosa (₹220) didn’t help either. It was far from what you expect at that price point, both in taste and quality.
We also tried panakam, which felt like nothing more than hot jaggery water, without any refinement.
Overall, the pricing felt completely unjustified for the quality served, making the experience even more disappointing.
The total bill came to ₹554, which clearly didn’t match the value delivered.
This review is based on my personal experience and opinions. It is not intended to defame, mislead, or harm any business. Food quality, taste, and service may vary for different customers. Viewers are encouraged to experience and make their own decisions.
