Churrolto

Great churros, strong non veg starters, and unique beverages make it a good place for a team dining experience.

5 January 2025

our team visited Churrolto in Hitech City to celebrate the New Year with a variety of dishes and desserts. The experience turned out to be quite enjoyable with a mix of impressive items and a few average ones.

We started with beverages. The Kokum Tango Tango Mojito was unique and refreshing, easily the best among the drinks we tried. The Melon Madness Mojito, however, was disappointing, while the Citrus Mojito was decent but nothing special.

Among the starters, the Buttermilk Fried Chicken stood out. It was tender, flavorful, and paired well with mayonnaise, making it one of the better dishes of the meal. The Broccoli Croquette had a nice crispy exterior and soft interior, though the flavor itself didn’t leave a strong impression.

Next was the Dhaka Lamb, which comes with a noticeable spice level. It may not suit people sensitive to spicy food, but I personally enjoyed the bold flavors.

Another highlight was the Crispy Chicken Burger. The thick patty and balanced flavor made it one of the most satisfying dishes we tried.

For vegetarian options, the Ravioli Spinach and Cheese Pasta (egg free) was excellent and definitely a must try for vegetarians.

In the main course, the Rice Noodles with Spicy Chicken turned out to be a good choice for spice lovers, offering a strong and enjoyable flavor profile.

Coming to desserts, the signature churros were fantastic and lived up to expectations. They were perfectly prepared and delightful to finish the meal with. We also tried the sugar free desserts made with 100% cocoa, which tasted authentic but slightly bitter, as expected with pure cocoa.

Another positive aspect was kitchen hygiene, which appeared to be maintained at a high standard.

The total bill for three people came to ₹6,994.
