Chintamani Pulaos

High social media hype, but food quality and execution failed to deliver.

1 November 2025

I visited Chintamani Pulaos in KPHB after watching multiple reels showing heavy crowds. The hype was high, but the ground reality did not match the online projection.

I tried their Chicken Fry Pulao. The fry piece did not meet expectations. It was tough and almost rubbery in texture. When I raised the concern, the staff insisted it was normal, and the attitude during the interaction was not welcoming.

The Joint Fry Piece was dripping with oil and did not feel fresh.

The Prawns had an off smell, which made them completely unappetizing.

Overall, the experience felt more like social media driven attention rather than substance driven food quality. Constructive feedback should ideally be welcomed in any serious food establishment.

It is a self service setup, roadside parking only, no wheelchair accessibility, and kitchen hygiene must be personally verified by customers.

Total bill came to ₹859.
