I visited Brahmana Bhojanam in Kukatpally to try their traditional vegetarian buffet. The experience felt very different from regular restaurants because of the calm and devotional atmosphere.
Right from the entrance, the place gives a divine vibe. The walls have devotional photos and traditional proverbs, and the fragrance of sambrani welcomes you, creating a peaceful dining environment.
The restaurant serves a buffet style Brahmin meal with a variety of traditional dishes. The spread includes pulihora, flavored rice, around 7 to 8 types of curries, gumadikaya pulusu, sambar, and perugu. Along with the meal, they also serve two types of sweets, which complete the traditional experience.
The taste of the food felt authentic and satisfying, very similar to a traditional homemade meal. The simplicity and flavor balance made the meal enjoyable.
One important thing to note is that on weekends they provide only parcel service, so dine in may not be available.
The price is ₹250 per person, which feels reasonable considering the variety and quality offered.
