Blank Bar & Kitchen

Excellent lasooni tandoori prawns and great service make this a worthwhile lunch spot despite average mains.

I visited Blank Bar & Kitchen in Madhapur, located near D-Mart, for lunch. The highlight of the meal turned out to be the Lasooni Tandoori Prawns.
The prawns were perfectly marinated with a balanced garlic flavor, grilled just right, and literally melt in the mouth. I actually lost count of how many I had because they were that good.
Along with draught beer, we ordered Kaju Fry. The first batch wasn’t crispy enough, but the staff immediately replaced it with a spicy and crunchy version that paired really well with the beer. This quick response from the staff was appreciated.
For the main course, we ordered Methi Chaman and Dal Tadka, served with Phulka and Tandoori Roti. The Methi Chaman was flavorful and enjoyable, while the Dal Tadka felt average. The rotis were soft, fresh, and served hot, which made the meal better.
We finished the meal with a glass of buttermilk, which was refreshing and a good way to end the lunch.
The ambience was good and the service was excellent throughout the visit. The restaurant offers valet parking, but wheelchair accessibility is not available.
The total bill was ₹2868, which came down to ₹2007 after a 30% discount through the District app.
