Bisi Bisi

2

Good starters, but the pulaos, biryanis, and overall consistency make it an easy skip.

15 September 2024

I finally reviewed Bisi Bisi after receiving repeated requests and visiting the place multiple times to ensure a fair assessment.

The Gongura Royala Pulao was a major letdown. It lacked the signature gongura tang and the prawns weren’t cooked properly, resulting in a very flat taste. When I raised this with the staff, the response was simply, “That’s how it’s made here,” which reflected clearly in the food.

I’ve been visiting Bisi Bisi since their tiffin days, which were genuinely good. Unfortunately, after discontinuing tiffins, the meals became average, with neither taste nor service standing out.

On the brighter side, the Veg Manchuria had well-balanced flavors and was enjoyable. The Disco Fish Fry was another strong dish. However, most pulaos and biryanis consistently disappointed, and the Raspberry Bliss tasted artificial.

This review is based on multiple visits, aiming to give an honest, long-term perspective rather than a one-time impression.
