Apsara Badam Milk Since 1972

3.5
A simple street stop where badam milk stands out, while the “original” claim remains debatable.
4 March 2026
A simple question led to this visit: “Is this the original?” One said yes, another said the shop next to it is the original. So the only logical solution was to try it ourselves at Apsara Badam Milk.
We started with the Badam Milk with Ice Cream (₹70). The preparation was interesting, a scoop of ice cream first, followed by hot badam milk poured over and mixed. The result was a thick, creamy texture with mild sweetness, and honestly, it tasted really good. This was clearly the highlight.
Next was the Pista Milk (₹70). Compared to the badam milk, this felt quite average. It wasn’t bad, but it didn’t have the same richness or impact.
The shop proudly displays a board claiming to be the “original”. Whether it truly is or not… that’s something you’ll have to decide after trying it yourself.
As always with street setups, kitchen hygiene is something you should personally check.
The total bill came to ₹140.
