Aaha Food Village

2.75

Great chutney, pongal, and tea, but inconsistent cooking affects the overall breakfast experience.

25 January 2025

I visited Aaha Food Village on Narsingi – Puppalaguda Main Road to try their breakfast items. The menu had several traditional dishes, but the experience turned out to be a mix of hits and misses.

I started with Pottikalu, which were soft and had good flavor, but somehow felt like something was missing to make them truly memorable.

Next was Dibba Rotte, which unfortunately did not turn out well. It felt undercooked and overly salty, making it quite disappointing.

The Pesarattu tasted good overall, but it seemed like a mixed batter, which made the taste slightly inconsistent. Some of us liked it, while others didn’t enjoy it as much.

The Punugulu also had an issue. They were undercooked and lacked the crispiness that usually makes punugulu enjoyable.

One standout item was the Palli Chutney. It was excellent in flavor and easily the best accompaniment, definitely a must try here.

Another highlight was the Chekara Pongal, which was delicious and well balanced in sweetness, making it one of the best dishes of the meal.

To finish, we had Tea, which was refreshing and surprisingly good.

The ambience and service were excellent, making the place comfortable despite the mixed food experience.

The total bill came to ₹559.
