9 Pulaos (Permanently closed)

I visited 9 Pulaos in Madhapur with fairly neutral expectations.

Usually, when I have a disappointing experience at mid range restaurants, I prefer to share feedback privately instead of posting publicly, because negative reviews can affect their business. However, this particular visit turned out to be such a poor experience that I felt it was necessary to speak about it openly.

We placed our order early, but the situation changed once a group of around ten people arrived. The staff suddenly shifted their entire attention to the larger group, and they started getting served before us even though we had ordered earlier. In my opinion, every customer should be treated equally regardless of group size, and this felt unfair.

Coming to the food, we ordered the Velluli Karam Kodi Vepudu Pulao. The name sounded promising, but the dish was a complete disappointment. 

There was no noticeable garlic flavor and none of the expected vepudu style richness, leaving the pulao tasting quite bland.

The Telangana Chicken Pulao was even more disappointing. The chicken tasted like plain boiled pieces mixed into salty and spicy liquid, without the characteristic pulao flavor or balance of spices.

Despite the strong hype around this place, the food quality and overall experience did not match the expectations.

The total bill came to ₹458.
